my husband says i smell like i have diabetes

to clarify my husband's father at one point did not know he had diabetes and they found out because he had that "smell". his room had this scent & he himself had fruity breath or some type of sweet scent from his body. so i was horrified when i hugged my husband and he asked if i should get my sugar checked and told me that i smelled like when they found out his father had diabetes type 2. i had him smell every single product i used and we figured out after 2 days it was anything with a "honey" note to it.
