How I outwitted a Nairobi car broker on X.

OK guys I'm not saying car brokers are bad people but some are extremely greedy.

Here is my interaction with one of the brokers I saw on X .

I saw an advert for a sale of a second hand vehicle on TL X. It had the vehicle description and price tag of 1M and a contact.

I took the contact and called

Me: Hello Sam (not his real name) I got your contact from a person who told me you're selling a car (x) on twitter for 650K and it's negotiable.

Broker: yes I'm actually selling the car but it's not 650k, hiyo ya 650k umeionea wapi waja nikutumie link uone.

Me: sina account ya X lakini nimeona hiyo gari sini gari X na specification ni hii na hii.

Broke: eeh... Lakini hiyo bei iko chini

Me: hapo iko sawa Sana. Gari enyewe iko wapi

Broker: iko (mahali x) kuja Friday uone na tubonge.

Me: sawa Sana nne Ntakuwa hapo.

I went with a friend and negotiated it for 670K. Kitu najaribu kuwaambia ni brokers wengi wa magari wanakulia double or more than the asking price ya seller.

Hii mtaa inatakikana ukae jonjo.
