Psychiatric meds new taper guidance

Curious for those being prescribed benzos and SSRIs from psychiatrists and been on for a long time .are you finding that you are tending to push deprescribing especially in older who are stable
With Kennedy's plan it's all psychiatric meds primarily SSRIs but why is Oz paying MDs to help taper. Sounds like this is going to be harder and more restrictions if there are not enough
To be honest I don't know one psychiatrist who knows how to properly taper anyway. They just say take Hydroxyzine and buspar and you will be fine or taper over 4 weeks eg: 50 first week 25 next week then continue until month over all done. Wrong answer . Just curious why Kennedy who is not a Md and Oz who is a cardio is getting info to do this . I see lots being harmed by just using exercise and therapy as a great taper .
