Moving to Salt Lake City - What was your experience?

So appreciative of anyone who takes the time to read this and can give some advice!

I've decided to move from Aspen to Salt Lake City. I'm wondering what your experience was like moving and finding a neighborhood that fits you?

I'm ideally looking for a place that has a good social scene for other working people in their 20s-30s, good access to skiing/mountains/mountain biking/gyms, and has a good blend of walkability and ease of commuting. I'm a Physical Therapist and Ski Instructor, aiming to work at a non-profit healthcare system and Deer Valley :) After talking with some friends, Sugarhouse seems to be a good fit.

What would you recommend? What was your experience like moving to SLC and building a new social group?
