Ultrawide software issues on Vivo x300U

Discussion

Hi,

Has anyone noticed 2 main issues in 'photo' mode using the ultrawide lens?

I have posted examples here

(Apologies I don't know how to create an image post on reddit as I don't see that option, only 'text' and 'link')

  1. Ghosting

A ghosting usually near the centre of the photo when there is a contrast of a darker object against a bright blue sky. There are faint smudges that outlines the object against the sky.

This does NOT happen in "street photography" mode on the UW lens suggesting it is a software issue.

I have been able to replicate it easily using a bright sky in 'photo' mode with most filters.

  1. Cyan skies.

The main 35mm lens does a great job maintaining an accurate sky colour. However in bright sunny skies, the ultrawide lens creates an incredibly fake vivid cyan sky.

I imagine it is difficult to tune the colours exactly alike on the main and UW sensors, but I find this to be a rather serious issue, especially for landscapes in good weather.

Ideally a way to tune the blue tone of skies as one of the filter parameters would be amazing. However even including this would mean that you would still have very different results using the main and UW lens on the same filter.

I'm hoping this may get the attention of someone from Vivo so they may look into the software side of things.

Thank you!
