Anyone know a good way to restore the old heat system

I noticed that my negative review I gave this game after they changed the heat system was actually noticed by the dev, but I was a year late to actually talk to them, so does anyone know a mod that gives you the option to return to the old heat system mechanic where upgrades affect solely efficiency?
