Rule question about Myriad

Hey! I recently started playing Dragonhawk, Fate's tempest and i was wondering how the Myriad trigger would work if i equipped Dragonhawk With Blade Of Selves

How i'm currently playing it is, (in this example i'm playing a 4 player commander game)
Whenever dragonhawk attacks, both copies enter at once and see eachother (for the repeat this trigger X times for each creature above 4 power), and then sacrifice themselves before the trigger of the normal dragonhawk happen. Is this wrong? I can't find to seem any good answers online.
