bullied by boyfriend

I 18 yo (F) am being bullied by my 17 yo (M) soon to be boyfriend. For starters, he has a 2013 Toyota Tundra with a very nice underglow, I just got a 2014 chevy cruze, it’s red, and his truck inspired me to want underglow on my cruze. When I mentioned this to him he laughed in my face and told me I would look stupid and lame if I put underglow on my car. I feel hurt and heartbroken from his response. Tell me the cold hearted truth guys.. will I look lame with underglow on my cruze?
