Realistic rent/mortgage amount

Hi, my income is $4100/mo net and currently pay $750 for a 1 bedroom apartment, 850-$900 with utilities. I live in a lcol area in MN and would like to upgrade.

I am considering a townhome or another 1 bedroom with better amenities. What’s a comfortable monthly amount to stay under? Would $1,100/mo plus $150 utilities be uncomfortably high?

My only debt is $4900 remaining on my car loan and I’m single with no children. I’m hesitant to spend $1250/mo for housing on just $4100 net income.

Motive to move is for heated parking, as silly as it sounds, it’s important to me. Any related input is appreciated, thanks.
