Why can’t my teammates do math? Are they stupid?

I just lost my third game in a row, every single game we had 8 points in the 11 point game-mode and each and every single game my teammate decides to shoot a 2 pointer while I sit with my ultimate at the 3 point line. Can they please add a “You need 3 points to win!” For the 5 year olds (or people with similar intelligence levels) that are yet to learn simple addition?
