Advice to a 22yo virgin girl

Hi, I’m a 22yo virgin who clearly wants to have sex.
I genuinely don’t know why I haven’t been able to form a romantic connection with someone since before Covid.
For context, I’m Latina and raised in a chatholic household. My parents have always been kind of overprotective and I was considered a “niña de casa” (homegirl? A girl who stays at home on weekends?) for a long time because of them. I’m also an arch major so I’ve always been super busy with homework and very critical of how I spent my time.

But now, that I’m working and finishing my thesis, I’m looking around and it’s starting to feel really humiliating or like something’s wrong with me for being a virgin. And I don’t know how to fix that, I’ve went to parties and clubs and not a single guy who caught my eye came to talk to me. I haven’t met anyone I like in my major, just 2 guys from volleyball which one is completely out of my league and the other is dating my ex best friend (for another story).

I can’t talk to boys I like just like that, I’m a coward in that aspect, I’ll never do that but why is it a problem for me? Every friend I have seems to have something on their own, why am I the only one not meeting people and falling in love? Or just likeable enough to have sex?

Is it going to be like this forever?

Sorry if i made any mistakes in grammar or spelling. Or if it was difficult to read
