2 years of overtraining and undereating got me nowhere. Here's what actually worked.

I wish someone could tell me at the beginning of my fitness journey that doing less was better. I always had the mindset of doing more was better but I was burning out myself. I was binge eating, overtraining, undereating, restricting myself and seeing no progress. It got to the point that I almost lost hope of ever getting to my dream physique.

For two years I was working out 6x a week, doing 4x a week runs and 2x a week solidcore, and barely resting and my body fat was NOT moving. It was the same percentage no matter what I did. Until last month I finally listened to the "less is more" advice everyone kept giving and changed everything. I change my whole routine and now I do:

4x a week strength training only, progressive overload, training to failure, tracking macros, and high protein meals. By doing this change I lose 6% body fat. From doing less and eating more high protein

I'm still figuring it out, which is honestly why I wanted to share you're not alone in this and the answer might be the opposite of what you think you need to do.

Btw I also write about all of this in my newsletter https://www.fuelupbysofia.com
