Being removed from Closed Friends?

I believe she removed me from her close friends on Instagram yesterday. She broke up with me almost a month ago now but there were absolutely no hard feelings between us. For reasons that are too long, I'm just gonna say that I suffer on a daily basis because I miss her and still love her and I'm stuck in our hometown with no friends or social interactions, while she is doing things that she told me she would do once she returns to the city where she studies. Going out with her girlfriends more now that she's nearing the end of her final university year, focusing on her studies etc.

Yesterday she uploaded a couple of stories from a festival she went to with her sister and girlfriends. The thing is, I'm part of their close friends on Instagram and they all uploaded stories to their close friends except for my ex. It seemed weird to me, so I went to her highlights just to check for sure, and sure enough, I can't find some highlights that she posted to her close friends.

So what gives? She called me 6 days ago because she needed help with something and we ended up speaking for 50 minutes. We caught up a little, we laughed, she told me what troubles her and at the end of the call she told me that "We'll talk again" and "We'll never lose contact". She said it. Not me.
