Trans Dating and the Culture of Guys Catfishing
So I was messaged today by someone who said he's 6'5", hung and he sent me photos looking like Chris Hemsworth.
We had some small talk and he asked me to send a c*ck pic, which I explained is something I don't do. Then he asked again and I declined again, to which he responded that I was weird and he wasn't interested in meeting.
Even if I was really talking to a Chris Hemsworth clone, I still wouldn't have sent a c*ck pic, because I think it's weird not to respect my boundaries. In a world that tries to control my body and pressure me, I try to assert what autonomy I have.
But after that interaction, I was thinking about how dozens of times, I've had the distinct feeling that I was being catfished and how tiresome it is that so many people online feel so phony.
Do you girls think I should have caved and sent a nude, on the 1% chance he was real, or was I right to stand my ground?
