Is this love bombing or a really great guy?

I (25F) had a great first date with this guy yesterday. We really hit it off, it felt like we were instant friends. On top of that he was very respectful, we shared a lot of beliefs AND he was really hot lol. It was probably the best first date of my life.

Later that night & today he and I have kept texting and he started saying a bunch of sweet things. Like he hadn’t felt this way about someone in forever, how comfortable he felt with me, how funny and pretty I was, he can’t wait to see me again, etc. He said this after I told him one of my love languages was words of affirmation, and that he wanted to say this stuff sooner but was worried he would scare me off.

I reciprocated a lot of these feelings because I am also really really into him. But now I’m starting to think he might be too good to be true. I am worried this might be love bombing instead of real affection.

I have very limited experience dating, so I can’t really compare this to my previous experiences with guys. Any advice or thoughts are appreciated!
