Done with office politics. Need help!!

Hello guys,

Things have been happening since last 1 year and tbh, I’m burned out from office politics and I’m done pretending the system is fixable.

Cant share details without doxxing myself, but I raised legitimate issues through the proper channels. I documented things, escalated appropriately, gave leadership chances to address it, and nothing changed. So at this point, I’m not interested in being the person who keeps absorbing the damage and still perform above n beyond.

Lastly the nail in the coffin has been, I was diagnosed with anxiety because of work and constant oncalls (as team is pretty small because of RIFs). Doctor told me to be detached about work n take less stress.

I’m looking for the art of professional minimalism. I want to get paid by doing absolutely minimal or nothing. I want to teach these guys a lesson.

- Do as less as possible which won’t let them fire me.
- Stop volunteering for messes leadership refuses to fix
- Let unrealistic timelines become management’s problem
- Avoid emotional reactions and stay boringly professional
- Stop saving projects from consequences they earned because of some dumbfuck decisions that i was not part of

For those who’ve successfully detached without making yourselves a target: what worked?

How do you quietly stop being the glue, stop doing invisible labor, and let the dysfunction reveal itself without giving anyone ammunition against you?

tldr:

Burnt out with office politics, Escalated properly, nothing changed. Stress forever. Led to anxiety.
Want to do as minimal/ no work as possible but still keep a job to give them a lesson.

Any suggestions are appreciated cant deal with these shitty people without getting enraged.
