Bass amplifier vs multi-instrument amplifier?

Hi, can a keyboard or multi-instrument amplifier handle bass frequencies?

What's the difference between them?

I plan to use my bass with a multi-effects unit, IR simulator, and amp. What are your recommendations?

It's for playing in an enclosed space of 20x20 meters.
