Pokémon White Victory Road Insanity

I'm playing White on my android tablet and in victory road it's become just unplayable utter insanity, I'm literally not even moving squares and getting back to back encounters, then either repels are glitched in roms or intentionally don't work in victory road, so it's completely impossible to work out any of this puzzle map without running out of PP.

I even looked up a map and it STILL wasn't useful, my game is softlocked on floor 6, there's a boulder I think I need to push with strength except it's impossible to get to the north side of it, and I don't even have strength. What on Earth is going on with this game?
