Heading to Greece soon, need advice on internet,,,

Question

Hey everyone!

I'm heading to Greece for about 3 months to visit family and work remotely. My job requires me to occasionally upload large files (I do VFX, 3D, and post-production work), so a reliable connection is a must.

Two of the three months I'll be in a hotel with Wi-Fi, but hotel internet is always hit or miss. I've been looking at a Starlink Mini, but I've heard there's a 2 month limit when traveling internationally before it has to return home which could be an issue. I've also looked at eSIM apps like Airalo and Ubigi, but speeds apparently drop a lot once you hit the data cap.

My current thought is to use the Starlink Mini for the first two months and figure something out for the last one. But I'm not totally sure that's the best move.

Would love to hear from experienced digital nomads, especially anyone who's dealt with this in Europe. Thanks!
