I wish the Mane 6 shared their interests more

I was watching Tanks For The Memories and this came to mind when Fluttershy tells Rainbow Dash about hibernation. I know the show has to teach kids about hibernation but I find it strange how RD doesn‘t at least have passing knowledge about animals from being friends with FS.

One of the best parts of friendship is teaching or learning interests from your friends! The Mane 6 have their cutie marks but I think they are too tunnel visioned in them.

The Mane 6 already have interesting commonalities:

- Pinkie and Twilight can totally bond over organization due to Pinkie’s pie-ling system and her incredible party planning cave.

- Rarity and Applejack definitely need knowledge of stitching and sewing in their lives. Heck, even Big Mac knows how to stitch things as seen in A Horseshoe In.

- Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash can both teach well. RD obviously can train pegasi in flying and FS can educate ponies on animal care or even give non-flying pegasi like herself to explore other paths.

Then you can have them teach each other their interests:

- Pinkie and AJ teach the other four how to bake but realize they do things differently and almost get into a serious fight about it

- Twilight gives Rarity and Sweetie Belle some magic lessons and has to learn that not all unicorns are as interested in magic and history of magic as she is

- Fluttershy gets injured and relies on RD to take care of her animals because she can fly. Fluttershy can guide RD and even RD can learn different flying techniques from the animals.

These are just some ideas; I’d love to hear your suggestions of how the Mane 6 overlap!
