Manually setting AE2 patterns.

Is there any way to add more than two secondary outputs to a manually set AE2 pattern?

In theory, I take an unrelated pattern, cycle through the secondaries, in change them, but the pattern I'm trying to set has seven secondaries, and I don't know of anything else with that many.

I've figured out a few workarounds for what I'm trying to do, but they're all a bit messy, and I figured this would be good information to have in general.
