How are you handling global latency and high packet loss for international users?
Dealing with high latency for international users is always a headache. When the physical distance is too large, the number of network hops increases, leading to packet loss and, eventually, service drops.
We've been looking into ways to minimize this "distance gap" by deploying edge servers at major global points to route data through optimized paths. One effective approach we found is using the lumix solution to prioritize cached data and shorten the communication distance to the origin server. It’s probably the most reliable way to bring the speed for overseas users up to a local level.
I'm curious about your setup: Do you build your own dedicated acceleration network for global expansion, or do you rely on external CDN providers?
