I built a social workout tracker because gym apps still feel lonely
For the past few months, my co-founder and I have been building SENA.
The basic idea is: Strava for the gym.
I’ve used a bunch of workout trackers, and most of them are good at one thing: logging sets and reps.
But the gym is way more social than that.
People copy workouts from friends, influencers, TikTok, YouTube, random notes screenshots, old programs, group chats, etc. But none of that actually turns into something you can easily do inside a tracker.
So we built SENA around that idea.
What it does:
- Log workouts with a proper tracker
- Create reusable workout templates
- Share completed workouts to a social feed
- Copy/bookmark workouts from friends or creators
- Follow training plans and scheduled workouts
- See progress, PRs, volume, history, and metrics
- Join gym/community groups
- Use an AI coach to help with training guidance
- Let creators share workouts their followers can actually do, not just watch
The thing I’m most excited about is that workouts become shareable and executable.
So instead of seeing someone’s “push day” on Instagram and manually typing it into Notes, you can just save it, run it, modify it, and track your own version.
We’re looking for honest feedback from lifters, gym creators, coaches, and anyone who tracks their training.
I’d love to know:
- Would you actually use a social gym app?
- What would make you switch from your current tracker?
- What would immediately make you uninstall it?
- Do you care about following/copying other people’s workouts?
Check it out here and let me know your thoughhts.
