UC is Immune-mediated inflammatory disease

Why do everyone still call it autoimmune disease which is not the same thing.. although it has some mechanisms in common.

Its a little bit misleading especially for people who are not familiar with UC/dont have it.

Friends, family can misunderstand it quite a lot.
