Oakley did not honor warranty to military veteran
I purchased Oakley Airdrops from oakleysi.com. (This is the website for first responders/military). About 1 year later, the frames broke. (One of the arms snapped with minimal force). I submitted a warranty claim request. It was very difficult to get anyone to respond.
After several weeks of back-and-forth I finally received a response saying that the warranty did not apply because I did not purchase it through Oakley. (Oakleysi.com is an official Oakley website.)
I then resubmitted the warranty claim. This time it was rejected, but with a 30% discount towards further purchases.
This is not what they promised in their warranty. As a military veteran, I don't expect any more than the average person gets, but I don't expect any less, either.
