I honestly think social media for younger users has gone too far in the wrong direction.

Everything today feels optimized for addiction, endless scrolling, drama, and pressure for validation. It’s crazy that platforms designed for kids and teens still allow things like random DMs, toxic comments, and content that clearly affects confidence and mental health.

I recently came across a newer platform concept focused more on creativity, positive interaction, challenges, avatars, and safe community-building instead of toxicity and influencer culture. No private messaging, strong moderation, and actual safety-first design.

It made me wonder why more social platforms aren’t built this way from the beginning.

Do you think the future of social media for younger generations should focus more on creativity and safety rather than engagement algorithms?
