Most businesses lose deals after the call — not before it

A lot of businesses think they need more leads.

But after looking at pipelines and follow-up behaviour, I’m convinced many deals are actually lost after interest already exists.

Things like:

  • delayed replies
  • missed follow-ups
  • no ownership
  • no visibility into stalled conversations

Most of the loss is silent.

Curious if other founders or sales teams here have noticed the same pattern.
