Should I wish my crush on his birthday ??

Soooo....he has already graduated, and we don’t really talk anymore except occasional academic messages (notes or help related stuff). We never had a proper relationship, but there was a subtle connection and mutual awareness.....

His birthday is coming up, and I’m wondering if wishing him would be okay or it would feel like I am one holding things...

I have never wished him or talked to him outside studies but I want to extend the connection... Will he feel weird ( dont know how guys feel )

I still have feeling for him and cant help...😭
