GoDaddy website alternative?

I have a small service business. when I bought my domain through GoDaddy a few years back they basically auto-generated a site for me using whatever info I gave during signup. I didn't think much of it at the time.

Recently a client mentioned the site looked dated. I logged in to fix a few things and realized I barely know how to use the editor, half the sections seem locked unless I upgrade, and their support kept trying to sell me add-ons every time I asked a basic question.

I've looked at a few options:

Squarespace: looks clean but I've heard the template lock-in gets frustrating once you want to go slightly off-script.

Webflow: everyone recommends it but from what I can tell it's more for people who want to get into no-code seriously. I just want a working site.

Framer: newer, seems interesting, not sure if it's overkill for something simple.

I've also been looking at fully managed services like b12 and storebox AI where they just build and maintain the whole thing. for business site that's honestly pretty appealing after the GoDaddy experience.

any recommednations or insights would be appreciated. I just want a site that shows up when you search me on google, nothing fancy
