Neighbor keeps making noise complaints

Long time lurker first time poster here. I’m writing this on mobile so sorry if this is a mess. My partner (23) and I (24F) live together in a townhouse. We are the second away from the end of the row and the couple that lives on the end are driving us nuts.

Shortly after we moved in, within a month, I was home alone watching tv with the volume literally on 12 and it was only 9:30. I get a knock on my door and it’s the guy next door saying “there’s been a constant vibrating ever since you guys moved in.” I didn’t know what the heck it could possibly be, but instead of worrying too much, I just said sorry and closed the door. I turned it down to 10 and literally couldn’t hardly hear what any of the characters were saying so I gave up that night.

Then a few months went by with nothing so we figured that was it. Then recently like a couple weeks ago, pretty much any time the guy leaves the house, he sits in the parking lot and revs his engine for his stupid mustang (no mustang hate he just really makes me mad lol) and when my brother came over to watch one of the invincible episodes that came out like 2 weeks ago, he started pounding on the wall and shaking the whole side of the room. This time it was only about 8pm.

And tonight it all came to a head. One of them called the cops and they came by saying they got a call about noise. Thankfully she was chill as hell and said that she didn’t think anything we had on was loud at all (once again tv was on 10) and nobody was in trouble.

My question is what can I do to make this stop? Granted my partner and I typically work later at night so we stay up a bit later, but we literally can’t come home from work and do anything without these people acting like we are committing a crime. I just wanna be able to watch YouTube for a little bit after I’ve already had a terrible day at work without getting cops on my doorstep. Any advice is appreciated!
