deferred 2026 application

Profile Review

Hi, just wanted to see what the community thought as I move into the summer and think more about deferred MBA apps.

Demographics: US, Male, 21

GPA: 3.8

Education: BS in Biology, BS in Finance (T20 school)

Work Experience:

  • Researcher in healthcare management lab (2 different labs)
  • Spent a summer doing biology research, and continued throughout school (multiple pubs)
  • MBB summer intern (this summer)
  • Incoming MBB (hopefully post grad)

School Extracurriculars:

Run a huge community event at school (over 10k attendees), president of volunteering organization (homelessness/social equity related), lead coordinator for another volunteering organization (sports/disability related), work in the previously mentioned labs, consulting mentor (case people through the school), cultural organization member (help run a large event), pro-bono consulting org (VP + founder)

Rec Letters:

Dean of Students at my school (work a lot with), research lab mentors, hopefully MBB supervisor

Standardized Testing

745 GMAT

Any ideas for schools? Chances for M7? Anything I can improve on over the course of the next semester before I apply? Any other general tips or things I should be thinking about? Also, do I need a letter of recommendation from a professor at all?
