Had to Email MD of Amazon UK - Absolute Nightmare
Here is the text:
Dear Mr Boumphrey,
I am writing to you as a loyal customer of over many years to seek your help with a distressing situation that standard support has been unable to resolve.
On 1st May 2026, I returned a faulty Alienware desktop (£2,469.00) and a monitor (£309.97), that I had bought to go with it. UPS collected both items, yet the refund remains outstanding despite numerous assurances from your team.
My account has since been restricted, and I am particularly concerned by the following inaccuracies provided by customer service:
- The Alleged Warning: I was informed that I had received a prior warning regarding my account. I have checked my records thoroughly and can confirm that no such warning was ever sent.
- Contradictory Reasons: I was first told the restriction was due to returns policy violations, and later, for an alleged "duplicate account." Neither of these claims is true; I have only ever used this account for purchasing goods - to the very best of my knowledge - and my return history is nonexistent anyway.
I have spoken with over 50 agents over the past ten days without a resolution. I would be very grateful if a member of your executive team could manually review my case, reinstate my account, and ensure the £2,800 is returned to my original payment method.
Thank you very much for your time and help in resolving this matter.
Kind regards,

In short, it's been an absolute disaster. I'm hoping this might finally move things along, otherwise it's the small claims court for me.
