For people who kept their ovaries during hysterectomy for endo/adeno…did symptoms actually stay under control long term?
I’ve been going down a rabbit hole reading experiences from people with endo or adenomyosis who had hysterectomies but kept their ovaries, and the long term experiences seem SO mixed. Some say it completely changed their life while others say symptoms slowly crept back over time because the ovaries were still active hormonally.
I’m really curious what the experience was like a few yrs later specifically for people who had severe disease before surgery. Did keeping your ovaries end up being the right choice for u or do u wish u had made a different decision during the hysterectomy itself?
