Can Extension students still experience campus life?

Hey everyone! I’m enrolling in the UCLA Extension Real Estate Development program this summer and I’m really excited about it. Real estate development is something I’m genuinely passionate about, and this feels like a really important step toward the future I want to build for myself.

That said, I really want to make the most of the experience beyond just classes. I’d love to meet new people, make friends, attend events, go to sporting games, and become involved in the UCLA community in general. If there's one thing I regret during my undergrad, it's that I wish I made more connections, so I don't want to make the same mistake here.

I know Extension students aren’t technically “official” UCLA students, so I was wondering, how integrated do Extension students feel with campus life? Are we able to attend student events, games, clubs, networking events, etc.? Have any other Extension students here been able to build a social life/community through it?
