Does the government even care about the climate???

With the recent ruling on the Climate Change Response Act 2002, it sure seems like the government just outright doesn't care about the climate and is OK selling out the country. What on earth are we supposed to do when the government doesn't care about the destruction on the planet??? Like I genuinely hate these politicians who are actively selling out the country just so their mates can make a quick buck.
