can i become an idol?
f16, 150cm, around 38kg, and i do have asian background (filipino and chinese). i have experiences with singing, low but not zero dancing abilities and i know how to play guitar, if that even counts. my family is not that well off. i'm pretty chopped right now due to my hormonal acne, but the closest i can compare my features is to predebut rosie.
so, i'm into kpop and not just that. i really love music as a whole. i have a passion for singing and dancing, i know my ways around social interaction and with the media. i love to make music, i cover kpop songs during my free time. i know hangeul, i read and write and i know the basics. i can speak a little but i dont fully understand the language that well.
i know some of the prominent downs of being a kpop idol including the stress, pressure, and draining schedules and trainings along with extreme diet and public scrutiny. this i acknowledge, and i fully understand why this is something that is considered a must or normal in the k-industry.
i'm not choosing to be an idol just because i want to meet my biases and whoever else is in the industry. if i'm being honest, i want to be better than them. a little egotistical, this is an L itself. LOL. what i'm trying to say is that it really is my dream to be an idol. seriously.
hypothetically if i even pass the standards, i have no idea how to contact agencies or make my way to countries wherein i'd train, or korea for example. so, how do i start?
