How to get VIP perks through transfer from my bf?

Okay so my boyfriend bought me and my friend group VIP tickets during presale because he had a better queue number than we did. He will not be with us though, he just helped us buy them. How do we ensure that we get the perks, I saw that having his ID in a photo will be enough ? Is that true?
