Why was I banned after creating a community and posting a welcome message?

I'm new to Reddit and created a community a few days ago. After posting a welcome post explaining what the community is about, my account got banned.

I didn't spam or post anything inappropriate. Is there a rule against new accounts creating communities or posting in them right away?

Any help understanding what happened would be appreciated. Thanks!
