Ethical dilemma

One of my clients wants me to come 4x a day and have her dogs in the crate the entire time except for those 4- 30 minute visits. This is for a one week vacation.

I spent over an hour and a half texting the client, trying to get her to make this better because she originally wanted me to come only 2x a day with her dogs in the crate at all other times.

She said she’s not interested in having her dog gated off in her house because they can jump over gates when she’s not there

I feel really upset about this because I tried to tell her I don’t think it’s ethical to have a dog in a crate all day and all night

I ended up just saying I would do the 4x times a day, but I might end up canceling because I tried telling her many times I think that’s way too many hours in the crate

What should I tell this lady? Should I still watch her dogs?

I’ve never had a request quite like this, and I’ve been pet sitting for a few years
