Current status

Platform is deployed and running online — currently gated to private

access only. Not yet open to the public. Public launch target: Q3 2026.

The CTO owns the production hardening to get us there.

Business model (open decision — CTO input wanted)

Evaluating between:

- BYOK — users connect their own API keys across all supported providers

- Credits system — platform manages all API keys, users buy bundles

This is a real architectural decision with real business implications.

The right person helps decide and then owns the implementation.

What the CTO owns

The product works. These are production architecture problems that need

someone who has shipped serious SaaS before:

1. Billing architecture — BYOK vs credits, decision + full implementation

2. Agent process architecture — replace persistent Python worker with

   queue-based or serverless design that scales per tenant

3. Multi-tenancy — per-user/org self-learning brain isolation

   (currently shared)

4. Paystack subscription lifecycle — recurring billing, webhooks,

   mid-cycle plan changes, access gating in Next.js 14

5. Rate limiting at scale — Redis or equivalent for multi-instance

   Vercel deployments

6. Observability — per-user API cost across 8 providers, agent logs,

   error surfaces, cost alerts

These are ownership decisions, not support tickets.

The offer

CTO / Technical Partner — not a hired hand, a named builder with

real upside.

Equity: 10%, vested over 4 years.

Performance bonus: additional 2% unlocked at R1M ARR.

Total ceiling: 12% for someone who ships and stays.

Division of control: you own the entire technical stack —

architecture decisions are yours. Product vision and business

direction stay with me.

What you are stepping into: a deployed, working platform with

11 live modules. You are not building from scratch — you are

making it production-ready and scaling it. Lower risk, faster

upside than a day-0 co-founder role.

I retain founder control. This is not a 50/50 split. If that

We start with a 90-day scoped engagement before any equity is

Who I am looking for

- Senior developer with production multi-tenant SaaS experience

- Strong Python and/or Next.js — ideally both

- Has shipped something real users depend on

- Based in South Africa (strong preference) or willing to operate

across SA time zones

- Comfortable with async Python, queue systems, secrets management

Africa market context is a genuine edge — Paystack, POPIA compliance,

local market dynamics. Someone who understands this market is worth

more here than someone who doesn't.
