40F-Looking for a possible life long friend (?)

Been feeling more and more lonely as I get older.

I usually don't mind solitude yet I find myself yearning for making a genuine connection with someone these past few months.

I finally decided to let go of a decade long online friendship I had as the person in question seems to have drifted farther and farther away. We barely talk anymore. And our chats are just one sided messages and reels from me.

I'm very shy in real life and talking to people can be anxiety inducing for me. Hence, I'm more comfortable with chatting online.
