I’ve been refining a small, focused macOS utility to remove a recurring release annoyance: turning iOS screen recordings into .mp4 App Store previews that App Store Connect is more likely to accept, without manually re-tuning FFmpeg every time a clip changes.

What it emphasizes

* SwiftUI macOS workflow: queue recordings, show conversion progress, and keep logs readable while jobs run.
* Sandbox-safe exporting: encode to a temp file first, then pick the final destination via a Save panel (the “Desktop/Documents surprises” class of issues).
* Connect-oriented encoding: practical duration handling, H.264 profile/level targeting, bitrate band, AAC audio, square pixels/SAR sanity, and MP4 packaging tuned toward smoother validation.
* Bundled tooling: ships ffmpeg / ffprobe behind a script-driven pipeline—the app stays intentionally narrow: UI + orchestration.

I’d especially appreciate feedback from people who ship iOS apps—especially if you’ve hit vague Connect validation errors—or if you have a cleaner pattern for Process work + log streaming + UI updates on macOS.
