Performative male music

Made a music about performative male music, let me know what you guys think regarding this topic! I know this topic is pretty hotly debated, but I also feel like it isn't gone into depth enough. You can watch the video for exactly what my points are (although its super anecdotal, as all videos on this topic are). You can also read below for a shorter, summarized version if you want.

TLDR: clairo, beabadoobee, and laufey are the big three of female indie softrock, and indie music is largely defined by people who hate gatekeepers, who then assign the "performative" tag to those people who like the artist. For example, lots of people who listen to TV girl are super gatekeepy and weird about it, which the community is kind of notorious for. Thus, TV girl fans are sorta deemed performative, even if the large majority of people are casual listeners, they get lumped together with the people who give a bad name to the community.

Let me know what you guys think!
