TLDR: paid extra for the fast shipping order took two months but came and was good.

Purchase process

Bought AYN Thor (Batch 5 Pre-order) × 1
Max 16+1TB / Rainbow for 489 USD
and express shipping for 55 USD
Total 544 USD.

Now the purchase process was completely fine I paid in AED using a Mastercard debit card ended up paying 2019 AED WHICH equates to 550 USD meaning I paid 6 USD extra in currency exchange and transaction fees which is completely fine by me.

The purchase was made on 27th of march

Post purchase

After purchase I did not receive any communication from AYN regarding my order until a month after on the 29th of April telling me that my order is in the way.

But during that one month I could use the AYN shipping dashboard to see which order numbers were shipped to have a better idea how far my device was.

Shipment tracking

I received an email on the 29th of April telling me my order is on the way it had shipping details and a tracking number that used YunExpress.

The tracking number I could click on to go to a website called 17 tracking that allegedly would show me tracking details of my order, but I found 17 tracking unreliable and slow so I just used the YunExpress website to track my order it was simple and seemless experience.

On the YunExpress website for my particular order I will summarise the timeline

•	Apr 28 — Order created in China  
•	Apr 30–May 2 — Moving through sort facilities in Dongguan → Yuen Long (HK)  
•	May 6–7 — Transferred to Foshan carrier, loaded in Hong Kong, and departed by air  
•	May 8 — Landed in Dubai; customs clearance began  
•	May 9 — Customs released  
•	May 11 — Hub arrival, rider assigned, and delivered by rider 

The actual information on the YunExpress website was very detailed and it showed a timeline entry for each step total had like 60 steps of shipping process but I decided to give short timeline summary cause the full thing is too long.

Overall I am very happy with my experience with AYN tec and YunExpress
