What surprised you about Komodo in summer?

Hello everyone! I’ve been to Komodo three times now, and each visit has been an incredible experience. However, my most recent trip during the summer really took me by surprise. I didn’t expect Komodo to be so crowded during this time! I usually visit outside the peak seasons, so I’ve always enjoyed the natural beauty in a more peaceful setting. But this time, I was shocked by how many tourists were there.

For those of you who have visited Komodo during the summer, did you experience the same thing? I’m curious if summer is truly the peak tourist season there, or if it’s just how it felt during my visit.
