Cruel gangster type shadow

Recently I am reading the problem of puer aeternus book. So I had a dream yesterday where I saw a Politician who is a cruel gangster in my country. The gangster/politician gave me a rod shaped icecream(which I believe is a phallic symbol).

My question is in the book I just read that a cruel gangster type shadow is very dangerous. So my question is did what I see in my dream my shadow. Because I personally hate this gangster because he has caused so much trouble for the people.

Else I have been thinking whether it is my ego because I have been thinking about strengthening my ego so does that rod mean he is asking me to man up.
