Ball joint question on 07 civic LX coupe

I've been doing a lot of work on a 2007 Honda civic LX coupe I purchased recently and for reasons I won't get into I received a pair of lower ball joints for a 2010 crv for free. Is there any reason I can't use them? They fit on the control arm perfectly, and look almost identical.
