how to hold

soo little update on izu we went to a vet! he got two medicines and the vet said that in worst case scenario he might have stomach cancer but since he saw him throw up right there he thinks he just ate something bad and has a bad irritated stomach. my question is, my boy doesnt like being held or touched or nowhere near hands because he lost trust in me with them one night whem i had to catch him because it was almost 2am and i had school the other day. ive been trying and working to get him to trust me again but its not going so progressive. the problem is i have to push some medicine in his mouth with a syringe and i have to catch him. any advices on how to do it since he doesnt like being held?
