The man looked down at his watch, the city river calmly . Still two minutes left of the effort, he cursed and bit and bit his teeth as he tried to keep the pace he had hoped to manage. But a night of less than ideal sleep followed by a long day at work had taken its toll.

Lactic acid screamed in his thighs as he pushed on. He checked his watch again. 60 seconds, he grunted as he came to the most meandering part of the path that followed along the just as meandering river.

Suddenly the man felt lighter. He forgot about the lactic acid. His technique improved without even a conscious thought from the man himself. He forgot about his long day at work. It's her.

I do think this is a rather universal experience. Be it at the gym evening session, at the local park where you run your laps every second day after work, along the river where you run every morning. You, literally, run into the same person again and again.

That one person you sort of always hope you meet that always gives you an extra boost of energy every time you see them.

I want to write a story about such an experience, but explore what happens when it actually goes further than just fascination and admiration from afar.

I am looking for someone who wants to write a slow burn romantic story from such a starting point.

I would prefer to find someone who wants to do something long term. Someone who likes to write more than two sentences and someone who I can develop a good writing vibe with. A reliable partner is always preferred. Discord is a must. 3rd person writing is preferred. No use of AI for the writing.
