My therapist says I meet all the criteria for cptsd but I just feel like I don't have it

Seeking advice

It feels fake. And my country doesn't even officially diagnose it. I do have the symptoms but I always attributed it to my autism which is diagnosed.

The things I went through were so minimal in comparison to people with real traumas that saying "I have c/ptsd" feels like I'm lying. And before anyone says "well its not what happened its how it made you feel," that just sounds like such a copout to me. It makes me feel even weaker for being affected by the things that were said or done to me. I've never been raped, or beaten to a pulp, or witnessed a death, or a war, or anything real.

Why would getting a diagnosis even matter? What would it change? What kind of accommodations would I have for something that isn't even diagnosable in my country give me other than a headache.

My parents realized what they did was wrong and we made amends, We aren't a perfect family but they love me. I should be fine by now. I shouldn't have such low self-esteem and hate myself so much or be so afraid to fuck up and make mistakes or embarass myself or expect people to hate me or scream and yell. I shouldn't have a fucking ED to cope with how much I hate my insides.
